Pediatric and Adults: Supporting eating, feeding and swallowing across the years
​Brittany provides individualized care for infants, children and adults experiencing feeding challenges, or swallowing disorders (dysphagia). Assessment including oral motor examinations, tongue ,lip tie assessment and clinical feeding and swallowing evaluations (Eating and drinking observed during the appointment) .Through evidence-based therapy and practical strategies, she helps clients and families make eating and drinking safer, more comfortable and enjoyable. Strategies will be provided during the session that can be carried over to home. All strategies and recommendations are evidence-based. ​​​
Lactation Consultant Services
Lactation Support: Helping You Feed with Confidence, Every Step of the Way!
From preparing for your baby's arrival to navigating feeding challenges, Rachel provides compassionate, personalized support to help you achieve your infant feeding goals. ​
Prenatal appointments build your breastfeeding confidence. It is an opportunity to discuss what to expect in the early days of feeding, review health history, answer questions and feeding goals.
​
Postnatal assessment and ongoing appointments address latch, positioning, milk supply, baby's growth and other feeding concerns.
​
Together, you will develop a practical feeding plan, with opportunity to celebrate progress and address ongoing challenges. Appointments are available in person, with prenatal virtual and phone options, and session lengths tailored to the support you need.
Fees

Our services are NOT covered by OHIP. Our clinic charges a fee for service. Our fees reflect the recommendations for private practice dietitians, Dietitians of Canada and for private practice SLPs set set out by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario and the Canadian Lactation Consultant Association (CLCA/ACCL)

Fees for Comprehensive Nutrition Assessment and for Nutrition Therapy is $120.00 per 50 minute session (10 minutes for documentation and preparation).

Fees for SLP Comprehensive Feeding Assessment is $150.00 typically a 50 minute session ( 10 minutes for documentation and preparation)

Fees for SLP feeding therapy is $150 per 60 minutes. This can be broken down into 15 minute increments beyond 30 minute long sessions.

Fees for Lactation Consultant Assessment is $150.00. typically at 50 minute session ( 10 minutes for documentation and preparation )

Fees for Lactation Consultant follow up sessions is $150.00 per 60 minutes. This can be broken down into 15 minute increments beyond 30 minute long sessions.
Fees are due upon completion of the appointment.. An invoice will be issued when an appointment is booked. A receipt will be issued once payment is received.

Prior to an appointment with any of the practitioners you will be required to complete forms and create your client profile.

Many insurance plans cover part or all of the costs associated with seeing Registered Dietitians, SLPs, Lactation Consultants. The remaining non-reimbursed fees may be claimed as a medical expense on your tax return.
